Canadas Harry Potter and Raincoast Books
Working Magic for The Worlds Ancient and Endangered Forests
The forest at Hogwarts is home to magical creatures like unicorns and centaurs. Because the Canadian editions are printed on Ancient-Forest Friendly paper, the Harry Potter books are helping to save magnificent forests in the Muggle world, forests that are home of magical animals such as Orangutans, Wolves and Bears. It's a good idea to respect ancient trees, especially if they have a temper like the Whomping Willow.
- J.K. Rowling
The boy with the lightningbolt on his forehead is back. And this time, Harrys not only saving Muggles and Hogwarts from the evil powers of Voldemort, hes also working a little magic for the worlds ancient and endangered forests.
The Canadian edition of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is printed on Ancient Forest Friendly paper (100% post consumer recycled, processed chlorine free). Thats not only good news for BCs ancient rainforests and the vast boreal forests that stretch across the north of Canada, its also good for forests around the world and the species that depend on them for their survival.
